Thank you for the T-shirt. It fits me all right so you don’t have to worry about that. It is amazing we still be best friends until now, although you are abroad now. I like that we have identical friendship t-shirts now. Ardi was jealous knowing that you sent me one but sent him nothing. By the way, mom finally agreed to hold a birthday party for me in a fortnight's time. Actually, the birthday party like my friends, Mina was great. You know, it was held at a famous hotel in town. The food was great, and most of all, the band was terrific. But Mom said we might not be able to have such a party, so she decided to hold my party at home. Dad suggested having a garden party, so fancy dress and high heels would not bother me... He’s right! Bandung's weather was clear lately. Let’s hope it would be sunny on my birthday. Anyway, Dad prepared the decorations and games, Mom the food, and Ardi said he would try to find a band. They might not play live with proper sound system. That would mess my neighborhood up! Maybe they'll play acoustically.
I really wish you were here and accompany me at the party, but I know that couldn't be. So, I just tell you this plan and I'll send you pictures later.

Dear Gretchen...
How are you? Do you still remember my last email about our family's plan for the upcoming holiday? Well, Dad surprised us all last night by giving us brochures about... Bunaken!!! I bet you’ll recognize the name. I have never been to Sulawesi before. The farthest trip I’ve been through so far is Yogyakarta. This Bunaken trip will be my first to reach the eastern part of Indonesia!

I have also read so many references about how amazing the Bunaken underwater view is. We also have searched for information about it on the internet. I will take many pictures there so I can show you some.
