Selamat belajar.

Dialogue I

A: Excuse me, did you see my wallet? The color is brown, I think I dropped it. (Permisi, apakah Anda melihat dompet saya? Warnanya coklat, saya rasa saya menjatuhkannya)

B: I’m sorry, I don’t think I saw any wallet while walking. Where did you lose it? Dimana hilangnya?)

A: I guess I lost my wallet on my way to the bus stop. I remember taking some money out from it when I bought this water from a vending machine.

B: Have you tried tracing it along the way that you took? (Sudahkah kau melacaknya sepanjang jalan yang kau lewati tadi?)

A: I’m trying. (Sedang saya coba)

B: I think you might dropped it somewhere by the vending machine. Go check for it. Segera periksa)

A: Alright, thank you. (Baiklah, terima kasih)

Dialogue II

A: Excuse me, Sir. (Permisi Pak)

B: Hi, what can I do for you? (Hai, ada yang bisa saya bantu?)

A: I just wanted to ask if you saw my wallet. I lost it. (Saya hanya ingin bertanya apakah Anda melihat dompet saya. Saya kehilangannya)

B: Well, I’ve been sitting here for about thirty minutes. I don’t think I saw anything like a wallet around here. Where do you think you dropped it? Dimana menurutmu jatuhnya?)

A: I’m not sure, but I remember holding it when I was about to buy something from that vending machine. Within ten minutes I was at the bus stop and I realized that it wasn’t in my pocket.

B: Are you sure you dropped it? What if somebody took it from you? (Kau yakin telah menjatuhkannya? Bagaimana jika ada yang mengambilnya darimu?)

A: I don’t think it’s stolen. I should have known it. (Saya rasa tidak mungkin dicuri. Harusnya saya mengetahuinya)

B: I’m sorry I can’t help much. I suggest that you ask the security guard about it. Maybe somebody found it and gave it to him?

A: I hope so. Thank you. (Kuharap demikian. Terima kasih)

Dialogue III

A: Excuse me. (Permisi)

B: Yes, how can I help you? (Ya, ada yang bisa saya bantu?)

A: I just wanted to ask if somebody found a wallet and gave it to you, because I lost mine.

B: What does it look like? (Seperti apa bentuknya?)

A: It’s made of leather, and the color is brown. (Terbuat dari kulit dan berwarna coklat)

B: Have you tried looking for it? (Sudahkah Anda coba mencarinya?)

A: Yes, I’ve been searching for about 30 minutes. I’ve also tried asking a few people and nobody seemed to see it. (Ya, saya sudah mencari selama tiga puluh menit-an.

B: Do you still remember what you have in it?

A: I do. There’s my ID card in there. (Ya. Ada kartu identitas saya di dalamnya)

B: Somebody did give me a wallet he found but it looks nothing like yours. Please go to the nearest police station to see if anyone has brought it there.

A: Okay. May I know where it is? (Baik. Boleh tahu di mana?)

B: Take this way and then turn right. You’ll easily notice the sign from that intersection. (Lewat sini kemudian belok kanan.

A: Alright. Thank you for the help. (Baiklah. Terima kasih atas bantuannya)
