Contoh percakapan bahasa Inggris memesan tiket bus

Melakukan perjalanan jarak jauh menggunakan fasilitas publik merupakan alternatif yang bisa kita pilih ketika ingin menghemat energi dalam perjalanan, dan bus adalah salah satu yang banyak diminati. Untuk menggunakannya, publik harus membeli tiket khusus sebelum melakukan perjalanan. Dalam momen-momen tertentu, seperti hari raya atau liburan akhir tahun, biasanya peminat transportasi umum kian membludak. Untuk itu, pelanggan perlu memesan tiket keberangkatan sejak jauh-jauh hari untuk bisa menikmati layanannya.

Berikut ini adalah contoh percakapan dalam bahasa Inggris yang terjadi saat memesan tiket bus di konter tiket di sebuah terminal. Simak dengan baik.

Dialogue I

A: Excuse me, is this the right counter to get a ticket to Bandung? What time the bus will leave? (Permisi, apakah benar ini konter untuk membeli tiket ke Bandung? Jam berapa busnya berangkat?)

B: Yes, it is.  There will be one in about 45 minutes. Another one is leaving at 5, and that’s the last bus for today. (Ya, benar. Ada satu yang akan berangkat sekitar 45 menit lagi. Satu lagi jam 5, dan itu bus terakhir untuk hari ini)

A: I’d like to buy a ticket in advance. (Saya mau beli tiket untuk yang lebih awal)

B: it’s Rp 80.000 (Harganya Rp 80.000)

A: Here it is. How long does the journey take? (Ini. Berapa lama perjalanannya?)

B: About 6 to 8 hours, depends on the traffic. Is it your first time taking a bus to Bandung? (Sekitar 6-8 jam, tergantung lalu-lintasnya. Apakah ini kali pertama Anda naik bus ke Bandung?)

A: Not really my first time but I never went all by myself before. (Sebenarnya bukan yang pertama, tapi saya belum pernah pergi sendiri sebelumnya)

B: I see. Watch your luggage, and just don’t take anything from stranger. (Saya mengerti. Perhatikan barang bawaan Anda, dan jangan terima apapun dari orang asing)

Dialogue II

A: Excuse me? (Permisi ?)

B: Yes, good afternoon. May I help you? (Ya, selamat siang. Ada yang bisa saya bantu?)

A: I wanted to ask about the schedule to Sukabumi. (Saya ingin menanyakan jadwal perjalanan ke Sukabumi)

B: When are you going? (Kapan Anda berangkat?)

A: The days after tomorrow. On Friday, to be exact. (Besok lusa. Hari Jumat, tepatnya)

B: The first bus will leave at 7, and there’s another one in every two hours until 5. (Bus pertama berangkat jam 7, dan tiap dua jam sekali akan ada bus berangkat sampai jam 5)

A: I’d like to take the second bus, then. At 9. (Saya mau ambil bus yang kedua. Jam 9)

B: How many tickets do you want? (Berapa tiket yang Anda mau?)

A: One ticket, please. How much is it? (Satu tiket saja. Berapa harganya?)

B: Rp 40.000 (Rp 40.000)

A: Here. Thank you. (Ini. Terima kasih)

Dialogue III

A: Hi, can I get two tickets to Solo, please? For the 3 p.m. bus. (Hai, bisa saya beli dua tiket ke Solo? Untuk bus jam 3 sore)

B: Sure. That will be Rp 70.000. (Ya. Harganya Rp 70.000)

A: I thought the ticket were Rp 28.000 each? (Saya kira tiketnya Rp 280.000 satuannya?)

B: It is, if you book it at least a week in advance. (Ya, jika Anda pesan setidaknya seminggu sebelumnya)

A: Fine. What time will the earliest bus leave? (Baiklah. Jam berapa bus paling awal berangkat?)

B: At 8.  (Jam 8)

A: I’ll take that. How much is a round-trip ticket? We’ll return on 28th. (Saya ambil yang itu. Berapa harga tiket pulang-pergi? Kami akan kembali tanggal 28)

B: The ticket is Rp 60.000 each. What time would you like to leave? (Harga tiketnya Rp 60.000 per satunya. Kapan jam keberangkatan yang Anda mau?)

A: I prefer the earliest bus. (Saya pilih bus yang paling awal)
