Apa pengertian descriptive text?

Desriptive text adalah adalah teks yang berfungsi untuk mendeskripsikan karakteristik seseorang, binatang, benda, atau tempat secara detail / spesifik. Tujuan komunikatif dari teks ini adalah untuk memberikan informasi rinci tentang ciri-ciri seseorang, benda, binatang, atau tempat tertentu. Pada kesempatan ini saya akan memberikan contoh descriptive text bahasa Inggris singkat mengenai hotel dan fasilitasnya. Berikut ini contohnya beserta dengan terjemahannya:

a New Hotel

There is a new hotel in my city. It is a four star hotel. It is located downtown.

The hotel is not very big but the architecture is very beautiful. It look like a classic castle in Europe. According to the brochure, it has 100 rooms, a fancy restaurant, complete sport facilities including a swimming pool, tennis court, gym and sauna, there are also a coffee shop and a karaoke room.

The pictures of the rooms in the brochure are very nice. The rooms look very comfortable. They contain a big spring bed with big pillows, a nice sofa, a wardrobe and a television system with programs from all over the world. The bathroom is very beautiful although it is not very big. It has a bath-tub with hot and cold water so guest can bath in it comfortably. The brochure says “hospitality is our trademark”. The staff of that hotel, from the receptionist, house keepers, and bellboys are trained to be polite and to help guests in any way they can.

Hotel Baru

Ada hotel baru di kota saya. Ini adalah hotel bintang empat. Itu terletak di pusat kota.

Hotel ini tidak terlalu besar tetapi arsitekturnya sangat indah. Itu terlihat seperti kastil klasik di Eropa. Sesuai brosur memiliki 100 kamar, restoran mewah, fasilitas olahraga lengkap termasuk kolam renang, lapangan tenis, gym dan sauna, ada juga kedai kopi dan ruang karaoke.

Gambar kamar di brosur sangat bagus. Kamar terlihat sangat nyaman. Mereka berisi tempat tidur pegas besar dengan bantal besar, sofa bagus, lemari pakaian dan sistem televisi dengan program dari seluruh dunia. Kamar mandi nya sangat indah meskipun tidak terlalu besar. Memiliki bath-tub dengan air panas dan dingin sehingga tamu dapat mandi dengan nyaman. Brosur mengatakan "keramahan adalah merek dagang kami". Staf hotel itu, mulai dari resepsionis, penjaga rumah, dan bellboy dilatih untuk bersikap sopan dan membantu tamu dengan cara apa pun yang mereka bisa.
