Berikut adalah contoh dialog percakapan bahasa Inggris 3 (tiga) orang di perpustakaan.

1. Doing a group task together in the library – Mengerjakan tugas kelompok bersama di Perpustakaan

Sani : Thank you for not coming late guys – Terima kasih untuk tidak datang terlambat

Toni : Yeah i’m rushing to here after my class is over – Ya, aku langsung buru-buru menuju ke sini setelah kelasku berakhir.

Dani : Fortunately my class is not too far from here – Ya untungnya kelasku tidak begitu jauh dari sini

Sani : Let’s begin this discussion – Ayo kita mulai diskusi ini

Toni : Sure  – tentu

Dani : Let’s quickly finish this task, I have to go somewhere after this group task – Ayo kita selesaikan ini dengan cepat, aku harus pergi ke suatu tempat setelah ini

Sani : First, We need to explain the abstract part of this paper – Pertama-tama kita harus menjelaskan bagian abstrak dari makalah ini.

Toni : I’ll try to find the book that could help us understand about the topic of our paper – Aku akan mencoba mencari buku yang dapat membantu kita mengerti tentang topik makalah kita.

Dani : Toni, could you find a book with title “History of United Nations” for us? –Toni, apakah kau bisa mencari buku dengan judul “History of United Nations”

Sani : Looks like that book could help us elaborate this topic with more deeper, Toni – Sepertinya buku itu akan membantu kita memerinci topik ini lebih dalam lagi

Toni : I’ll try to find that book – Aku akan mencoba mencari buku itu.

Dani : Don’t forget to ask the libertarian about the wifi password, we also need the secondary reference from the internet – Jangan lupa menanyakan password wifi kepada penjaga perpustakaan, kita juga butuh referensi kedua dari internet.

2. Talk With The Librarian – Bercakap dengan Penjaga Perpustakaan

Toni : Good morning sir, may i request the book with title “History of United Nations”, We need the 2nd edition of that book because i remember there is an error exist on the 1st edition – Selamat pagi pak penjaga perpustakaan, saya membutuhkan buku dengan judul “History of United Nations”, saya membutuhkan edisi kedua dari buku ini karena seingat saya ada kesalahan dalam edisi pertamanya

Librarian : Sure, do you need the simple language version or the classical language one? – Tentu saja, apakah kamu membutuhkan buku versi bahasa sederhana atau versi bahasa klasik.

Toni : The classic version of that book is very hard to understand, just the simple one sir – versi klasik dari buku itu sangat sulit untuk aku mengerti pak, tolong yang versi sederhana saja

Nana : Hi Toni, do you visit the library to discussing the group task for the history class? – Hai Toni, apakah kamu mengunjungi perpustakaan untuk membicarakan tugas kelompok untuk kelas sejarah?

Toni : Oh, Hi Nana. Sorry i’m not realizing you in here – Oh, hai Nana maaf aku tidak menyadarimu di sini

Librarian : Here is your index card Toni, You could find your book by following that index card. And for Nana did you come here to return the loan book? – Ini kartu indeks-mu Toni, kamu bisa menemukan buku yang kau maksud dengan mengikuti kartu indeks ini. Dan Nana apakah kamu ingin mengembalikan buku pinjaman-mu?

Nana : yes, i want to return this book – Ya, aku ingin mengembalikan buku pinjaman ini.

Toni : Thank you sir for the index card, and Nana see you later – Terima kasih untuk kartu indeksnya pak, dan Nana sampai jumpa nanti.

Nana : See you later, Toni – sampai bertemu lagi Toni.

3. After Asking the librarian – Setelah Bertanya kepada Penjaga Perpustakaan

Sani : Hey Toni, did you already found that book? – Hei Toni, apakah kau sudah menemukan bukunya?

Toni : I’m just need to find that book through this index card – aku hanya tinggal mencari bukunya melalui kartu indeks ini.

Dani : Toni, did you already ask the librarian about the wifi password? – Toni apakah kau sudah bertanya ke penjaga perpustakaan tentang password wifinya

Toni : I’m sorry. I’m forget to ask about that – Maaf, Aku lupa bertanya tentang itu

Sani : how can you forget to ask the password, Toni? – Bagaimana kau bisa lupa untuk menanyakan passwordnya, Toni?

Dani : it’s okay, we need to carry out this task as far as i can – Tidak apa-apa, kita harus mengerjakan tugas ini sejauh yang kita bisa.
