Berikut adalah contoh percakapan antara apoteker (pharmacist) dengan pembeli obat (buyer). Percakapan di bawah ini bisa Anda kembangkan lagi.

Pharmacist : Hello how can I help you? (Hai, ada yang bisa saya bantu?)

Buyer : Yes, I would like to buy some medicine. (Iya, saya ingin membeli obat)

Pharmacist : May I know the name of the medicine? (Boleh saya tahu nama obat yang ingin dibeli?

Buyer : Sure, but I forget the name. Hmmm (Tentu, tetapi saya lupa namanya. hmmm)

Pharmacist : Do you have medical prescription? (Apakah ada resep dokternya?)

Buyer : Sure, wait a moment. Here is the prescription. (Tentu, tunggu sebentar. Ini resepnya)

Pharmacist : Ok, please wait a moment. (Baik, ditunggu sebentar)

A few minutes later (Beberapa menit kemudian)

Pharmacist : Here are the medicine. Please take the table 3 times a day, apply the ointment onto your skin twice a day. It helps the skin get normal faster. (Ini obatnya. Minum tabletnya 3 kali sehari, oleskan salepnya pada kulit dua kali sehari. Itu membantu mengembalikan kulit ke bentuk awal dengan cepat).

Buyer : For the tablets, should I take it after meal or before meal? (Untuk pilnya, Apakah sebaiknya saya minum pilnya setelah makan atau sebelum makan?)

Pharmacist : After meal and don’t forget the vitamins. Just take one tablet each day. (Setelah makan dan jangan lupa vitaminnya. Minum satu kali per harinya).

Buyer : Thank you so much. And how much is for the price? (Terima kasih. Dan berapa harganya?)

Pharmacist : Let me check. The total is Rp. 167.000,- Sir. (Saya cek terlebih dahulu. Totalnya adalah Rp 167.000,- Pak).

Buyer : Sure. Here is the money Rp. 200.000,- (Ya. Ini uangnya Rp. 200.000,-)

Pharmacist : Here the change Sir, Rp. 33.000,- Thank you Sir. (Ini kembaliannya Pak, Rp.33.000,- Terima kasih Pak.

Buyer : Thanks (Terima kasih)
