Rasa penasaran atau ingin tahu adalah suatu hal yang lumrah dan itulah yang sebenarnya membuat kita bertambah pengetahuannya. Rasa ingin tahu yang dalam bahasa Inggris disebut dengan expression of curiosity banyak bentuk dan ragamnya. Berikut adalah contoh dialog bahasa Inggris tentang rasa ingin tahu:

Contoh 1:

A : Renata, I hear that you did not win the competition again (Ratna aku dengar kamu tidak memenangkan kompetisi lagi)

B : Yes, that’s right Jhon (ya, itu benar Jhon)

A : By the way, how it happened? (ngomong-ngomong, bagaimana itu terjadi?)

B : I think because I don’t have any preparation to it (aku pikir itu karna aku tidak memiliki persiapan untuk itu)

A : Never mind Renata, you can try it again (tidak apa-apa Renata, kamu dapat mencoba nya lagi)

B : Yes, Jhon. thank you so much (ya, jhon. terimakasih banyak)

A : You’re welcome (sama-sama)

Contoh 2:

A : Dinda, I hear that you are sick? (Dinda, aku dengar bahwa kamu sakit)

B : Yes, that’s right, do I look so pale? (ya, itu benar, apakah aku tampak pucat?)

A : Yes, I think you are tired (ya, aku pikir kamu lelah)

B : I think so (aku berfikir begitu juga)

A : Do you have many activities in this week? (apakah kamu memiliki banyak aktivitas minggu ini?)

B : Yes, I should prepare my script (ya aku harus menyiapkan skripsi ku)

Contoh 3:

A : Lex, may I ask something to you? (Lex, bolehkah aku menanyakan sesuatu untuk mu?)

B : yes, about what? (ya, tentang apa?)

A : I hear that you pass the scholarship program in USA (aku dengar bahwa kamu lulus beasiswa di Amerika serikat)

B :Yes, that’s right (ya, itu benar)

A : Can you tell me how is the way? (dapatkah kamu menceritakan padaku bagaimana caranya?)

B : Okay I will tell you about that, but not today okay? (baiklah, aku akan menceritakan padamu tentang hal itu, tetapi bukan hari ini)

A : Well, no problem (baiklah, tidak masalah)

B : Okay wait that moment, please? (baiklah tunggu momen itu ya)
