Bagaimana contoh percakapan bahasa Inggris menolak undangan dan pembahasannya?

Pernahkah kalian menolak sebuah undangan? Undangan acara pernikahan sang mantan mungkin? Jika kita duduk bersama membahas tentang sebuah undangan “Invitation” maka kita juga akan membahas tentang responnya, ya kan? ingin menghadiri atau tidak nya acara tersebut. Nah, pada artikel ini saya hanya akan membahas bagaimana menolak sebuah undangan atau ajakan di dalam sebuah dialog Bahasa Inggris.

Dialog Bahasa Inggris Tentang Menolak Undangan “Declining An Invitation”

Dialog dan Terjemahan

Situation: Jack has 2 Tickets Music Concert but He doesn’t have any friends to go around with him so He asks Rose to join watching the Music Concert with him. The conversation begins!
Situasi: Jack memiliki 2 Tiket Konser Musik tetapi Dia tidak punya teman untuk pergi dengan dia sehingga Dia meminta Rose untuk bersama menonton Konser Musik dengan dia. Percakapan dimulai!

• Jack: Hi Rose. Is everything ok?| Jack: Hi Rose. Apakah semua baik-baik saja?
• Rose: Hi Jack. Yes, everything is ok. What is going on Jack?| Rose: Hi Jack. Ya, semuanya ok. Apa yang terjadi Jack?
• Jack: Are you available tonight?|Jack: Apakah kamu tidak kemana-mana malam ini?
• Rose: Of course Jack. I don’t have any boyfriend. So you want to ask me to have a date with you?| Rose: Tentu saja Jack. Aku tidak punya pacar. Jadi kamu meminta ku untuk kencan dengan mu?
• Jack: Oh no, this is not a date Rose, actually I have 2 Tickets Rock and Roll Music Concert but I don’t have any friend to go around with me. So, will you want to see that Rock and Roll Concert? Because I still have one ticket free.| Jack: Oh tidak, ini bukan sebuah kencan Rose, sebenarnya aku memiliki 2 Tiket Rock and Roll Music Concert tapi aku tidak punya teman untuk pergi dengan ku. Jadi, apakah kamu ingin melihat konser musik Rock and Roll itu? Karena aku masih punya satu tiket gratis.
• Rose: I don’t like Rock and Roll music, Jack. It’s so noisy in my opinion.| Rose: Aku tidak suka Rock and Roll musik, Jack. Menurut ku,  itu sangat bising.
• Jack: I agree with you, but It’s gonna be fun, Rose. Trust me! We can dance through the guitar distortion.| Jack: Aku setuju dengan mu, tapi itu akan menjadi menyenangkan, Rose. Percayalah kepadaku! Kita bisa menari melalui suara distorsi gitar.
• Rose: Let me think first.| Rose: Biarkan aku berpikir terlebih dahulu.
• Jack: Oh, come on Rose. We don’t have any time to think about it. Just say yes then I will pick you up around 8:00 pm tonight.| Jack: Oh, ayolah Rose. Kita tidak punya waktu untuk berpikir tentang hal itu. Katakan ya maka aku akan menjemput mu sekitar jam 8 malam ini.
• Rose: I’m so sorry Jack. Rock and Roll music is not my favorite. I cannot go with you, Jack. Maybe some another time. I’m so sorry, please.| Rose: Maafkan aku Jack. Musik rock dan roll bukan favorit ku. Aku tidak bisa pergi dengan mu, Jack. Mungkin lain waktu. Maafkan aku, ya.
• Jack: That’s no problem Rose, I’ll find another guy to go around.| Jack: Itu tidak masalah Rose, aku akan mencari orang lain untuk pergi bersama.
• Rose: See you sometimes Jack. Have a great Rock and Roll Party.| Rose: Sampai bertemu, Jack. Semoga pesta Rock N Roll nya menyenangkan.
• Jack: I will. Thanks, Rose. See you sometimes.| Jack: Ya. Terima kasih, Rose. Sampai bertemu.

Pembahasan Materi

Situasi pada dialog di atas adalah Jack mempunyai 2 tiket menonton konser musik Rock and Roll. Tetapi sayangnya Jack tidak punya teman untuk menonton konser musik itu. Lalu Jack mengajak Rose untuk melihat dan menonton konser musik tersebut. Apa yang terjadi? Apakah Rose menerima atau menolak? Simak Penjelasan berikut ini!

Salam Pembuka ada pada kalimat berikut ini:

Kesimpulan
